As of December, 2025, the Bristol Rescue paramedic license has been approved by the state! We are now undergoing the process of carrying out the internal changes to operate at the paramedic level. This includes but is not limited to, purchasing equipment, hiring paramedics, adjusting training and staffing, and much more. Although this is a daunting task, it is a necessary one for the community. As it stands, we rely on other services to provide us with paramedics as needed, and they can be over 15-20 minutes away. In EMS, time is everything. As we take the next steps towards having our own paramedics available to us, we are excited for what this means as a squad, as well as for the safety of the community!
