Bristol Rescue is always looking for more volunteers!

No experience is necessary, just a willingness to serve your community!

The Bristol Rescue Squad (BRS) is a private non-profit organization providing emergency medical services twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year to the five towns of Bristol, Lincoln, Monkton, Starksboro, and New Haven, and mutual aid service to surrounding communities. BRS is staffed by volunteers and paid staff who fill one of three positions:

1)     Crew Chief - An experienced EMS provider certified at the Advanced EMT or EMT level who supervises and directs the activities of the crew on the call.

2)     Attendant - A second provider certified at the EMR, EMT, or Advanced EMT level who provides care to the patient at the direction of the crew chief. This position can also act as the driver.

3)     Driver - A member who drives the ambulance, assists with movement and transport of the patient, and provides operational support when requested.
